Gardening Classes at Brown Recreation Center
What's Growing On?
A 5-week program focused on teaching elementary-aged youth about the characteristics of a garden, gardening techniques, and how to maintain a garden. Participants will also learn the fundamentals of hydroponic growing systems using The Tower Garden. Register on the city of Greensboro Parks and Rec website.

Ivy Garden ClubÂ
Garden Club is the place for anyone looking to green their thumb. Join other community members on the 2nd Wednesday of every month to discuss and learn about gardening and how you can do it at home. This hands-on learning experience is open to all ages, so bring the family, and let’s get growing! Scan the QR Code to fill out the interest form and receive email updates about each month's class.

Storytime In The Garden
Families will be invited to Brown Recreation Center’s Ivy Garden for story time and a hands-on garden activity. All books read during the program will be available from our garden-themed lending library for checkout.
