Groovin' in the Garden
Saturday, April 27; 12-5 pm
Gateway Gardens; 2924 E. Gate City Blvd.

Music, food, children's activities, Garden Quest, and more in Greensboro's newest garden. Volunteers needed to help with all aspects of the event including greeting & counting; assisting with children's activities; assisting with beer/wine sales; litter patrol, etc. Two shifts available. Volunteer signup available in late March.


Parisian Promenade
Sunday, June 2; 12-5 pm
Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden

Recreating a spring afternoon in Paris with sidewalk artists, family games, poodle parade, petanque, sidewalk cafes, Garden Quest and more. Volunteers needed to help with all aspects of the event including event setup; greeting & counting; assisting with children's activities and family games; assisting with beer/wine sales; litter patrol, etc. Two shifts available. Volunteer signup available in early May.


Big Sweep Greensboro
Saturday, September 21; 9 am-12 noon

Join us to get litter out of our streams, off our streets, and out of our neighborhoods! Volunteer signup available in August.


Art in the Arboretum
Sunday, October 6; 12-5 pm
Greensboro Arboretum; 401 Ashland Drive

Juried art exhibit with 50 artists, music on 3 stages, 2 food courts, Garden Quest, and more. Volunteers needed to help with all aspects of the event including event setup; greeting & counting; assisting with children's activities and family games; assisting with beer/wine sales; litter patrol, etc. Two shifts available. Volunteer signup available in September.


NeighborWoods Community Tree Planting
Saturday, November 2; King's Forest Neighborhood

Join volunteers to help plant trees. Volunteer signup available in October.


Holiday Greenery Festival
Date TBA; 12-5 pm
Lewis Recreation Center; 3110 Forest Lawn Drive

A Greensboro Beautiful fundraiser featuring fresh, North Carolina grown wreaths, poinsettias, light balls, and local artists. Event setup on Saturday, prior to the event from 1-4 and includes unloading wreaths. Event day volunteers needed to assist with wreath selection and pickup, extra sales, check-in, preparation of wreaths for Mobile Meals recipients, etc. Two shifts available. Volunteer signup available in November.
