THE GARDENS
 |
Greensboro Beautiful’s unique partnership
with the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Department
has created three distinct public gardens -- Bicentennial
Garden, the Greensboro Arboretum, and the Bog Garden.
Gateway Gardens, our fourth public garden, is under construction. The existence of Greensboro’s public gardens
shows our community’s commitment to ongoing
stewardship of our natural environment. |
And while the gardens offer visual and sensory enjoyment,
the impact of these gardens goes beyond the surface of physical
beauty. In fact, Greensboro's public gardens grow more than
trees and flowers - they nurture strong communities by contributing
to education, environmental conservation, health, and recreation.

|
The gardens are open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Admission
is free.
