North Carolina Big Sweep
Each fall, Greensboro Beautiful volunteers clean litter
from our community's lakes, creeks and streams as part
of
the the NC
Big Sweep Waterway Litter Pickup. Thousands
of volunteers from scout troops, community organizations,
churches, schools,
businesses, and families take part in the cleanup, showing
our community's concern for cleaner waterways. In recent
years, this cleanup has been sponsored locally by the
Rotary Clubs of Greensboro.
